About Me

My photo
I am from Sheboygan, WI and recently moved to Darien with my boyfriend. I graduated college with a degree in Vocal Performance and Pedagogy and found myself not knowing what I want to do with my life. I have a lot of interests and need to work to narrow it down in order to find my true passion.

Creeper at Wal-mart

Why is it that whenever I go to Wal-mart or grocery shopping around here, I either get hit on by a creepy old guy or I happen to find someone who wants to tell me their entire life story? Today when I went, I managed to find someone who was able to do both these things...
So I was standing there, minding my own business, smelling hand soaps to decide which one I wanted (For those of you that don't know, I am a very indecisive person. This man managed to make my decision go a lot faster.) and this man comes along and says, "Smells good, doesn't it?" Ok, creepy. But being the nice person I am I respond, "Yeah, it does." Then he said something like, "Oh, you are blonde." What that had to do with anything, I don't know, but he then went on about how he always had problems dating women, that they were usually too old, and how he hasn't found the right one yet. He then told me something like how he couldn't date me because I'm young and he just turned 50 and if he doesn't meet someone by the time he's 60 in like 2025 in 11 years (don't ask me how that adds up, those are the numbers he said) then he'll probably just give up. Then he decided to tell me (while looking at the soaps) that his hands are so chapped right now, probably because of the weather. It was about at that time that I decided I really needed to get away, so I smiled and slowly walked away. Luckily, he didn't follow...

Why do I always meet people like that? Maybe I just look like a nice person and they need someone to talk to. I guess I need to figure out how to look mean so I can get my groceries in peace and go home.
